Colossyan

Colossyan Creator turns a document, deck, script, URL, or prompt into an avatar lesson. Cora drafts the scenes, and nothing renders until you approve it. You can add quizzes and leave as an MP4, a link, or SCORM. Starter is free; Professional and Enterprise are the paid cards.

Is Colossyan right for you?

Colossyan fits a team that already wrote the lesson in a PDF, a deck, or a script and wants an avatar to narrate it, then to change a sentence later without another shoot. It is a weak match for a clip that needs no quiz and no LMS package. The table lists 0 SCORM exports on Starter, 5 a month on Professional, and unlimited on Enterprise. When you need more, Professional is $59/month on an annual plan.

A good fit for

  • Narrating a policy PDF or slide deck after you approve each scene.
  • A course with quizzes when the plan's SCORM count covers the LMS.
  • Trying the editor on free Starter minutes before a larger pool.

Know the trade-offs

  • Only generated videos spend minutes, and deleting one does not return them.
  • Starter lists 0 SCORM exports, so a free account is not an LMS pipeline.
  • Pages say both 100+ and 120+ languages, and Enterprise has no shown price.

Draft, direct, and publish a Colossyan lesson.

A source file becomes scenes you still direct

Drop in a PDF, slides, or a script. The homepage also takes a doc, slide deck, URL, or prompt, and a project can start from scratch. Slides and speaker notes become narrated scenes. PPT, PDF import and a course outline editor are rows on the pricing comparison. Colossyan's AI agent plans scenes, writes the script, places the avatar, and sets the pacing. Cora, our AI agent, drafts it scene by scene, and nothing renders until you approve it. Change any line, scene, or visual in the editor. Drafts and previews are free, and nothing needs re-recording.

Stock presenters, cloned voices, and brand marks

The comparison lists 300+ stock avatars and 700+ stock voices. Stock presenters, custom studio avatars of your own people, and instant webcam avatars are all named, along with your colors and logo. Homepage and demo copy say 100+ languages. The comparison heading says 120+ supported languages. Custom slots run 15 avatars and 3 cloned voices, then 20 and 5, then unlimited. Starter includes brand kits. Auto-translations are 15 a month, 20 a month, then unlimited, apart from the language library.

Courses, branches, and three ways out

Courses can carry quizzes and a SCORM export. Viewers can hit branching, quizzes, and clickable action buttons. Course creation is unlimited on every column. Interactive videos are 10 a month, 15 a month, then unlimited. Conversational avatars includes as dashes and then 1,000 min on Enterprise, beside one included custom studio avatar. Publish to your LMS with SCORM, export as MP4, or share a link. SCORM cells read 0, 5/mo, and unlimited for both course and video export. Enterprise adds self-contained packages beside streaming. Resolution is up to 1080p, up to 1080p, and up to 4k. Watermark removal is named on Professional. Viewers have no per-viewer fees.

What spends a minute, and what stays a draft

Starter lists 20 min/mo with NEO. The comparison adds 0.5 min/mo with NEO2 on that column, 10 min/mo with NEO2 on Professional, and unlimited on Enterprise. Professional's card shows 30 min/mo with NEO and 10 min/mo with NEO2. The pages do not define how the two generators differ. Video duration limit is a different cell: 20 min, then 30 min monthly 50 min yearly, then Custom. Scene limit is 40, 40, then Custom. Only generated videos count toward your allowance, so drafts sit outside the meter. Deleting a generated video does not return minutes. Editor seats are 1, then a maximum of 3, then custom. Professional is $30 /mo per additional member.

Ways to use Colossyan

Replace one policy page with a narrated scene

A compliance update is a suggested use of the document path. Upload the revised section or paste the paragraph that changed, and read the scene list before a render. Keep a definition counsel already approved. The documented fix is to edit the sentence, regenerate the scene, and push the new cut to an LMS. That push needs a SCORM cell above zero. On Starter the suggested stop is a link or an MP4, because both SCORM rows are 0. Professional is the first column with 5 exports a month. Extra languages spend the auto-translation quota, not a new course slot.

Turn hire paperwork into a short welcome series

Onboarding is a suggested workflow from Colossyan's own headings. Turn HR docs and policy decks into a short series: the first week, where benefits are explained, and which tool a new hire opens. Import the deck whose speaker notes are already right, or paste a script HR signed. One topic per scene keeps a later tweak from rewriting the file. Interactive videos cap at 10 a month on Starter, so add a quiz only if that quota is free. A webcam avatar of a manager uses one of 15 custom slots on that tier.

Alternatives to Colossyan

Synthesia

You want a second avatar-course vendor to read on its own.

Choose Synthesia when the job is still an avatar lesson and you will compare that vendor's limits yourself. This profile only covers Colossyan: a Cora draft you approve, 300+ stock avatars on the table, and SCORM counts that start at zero on Starter.

HeyGen

The deliverable is a presenter clip, not an LMS course.

Choose HeyGen when you do not need quizzes, branching, and a SCORM count. Colossyan's pages tie the file to an LMS and to lessons that must stay accurate after the first export.

Descript

An avatar course with SCORM is not the package you need.

Choose Descript when a document-to-scene course is the wrong shape for the job. Colossyan's pages start from a file, URL, or prompt and hold the render until you approve. They do not document a transcript editor for footage you already shot.

Colossyan: common questions

Is Colossyan free, or only a 14-day trial?

Both phrases are published. Starter is free for individuals exploring AI video, with no credit card, and the FAQ also names a free trial and a free plan. Separate lines say you can try AI video completely free for 14 days. They do not say whether those days end the free tier. Our free plan gives you $27/month worth of value describes the Free $27/mo card, not a charge. The card lists 20 min/mo with NEO.

Source
What uses a video minute?

Only generated videos count toward your allowance. Drafts and previews are free, and deleting a generated video does not credit minutes back. Starter lists 20 min/mo with NEO; the comparison adds 0.5 min/mo with NEO2. Professional lists 30 minutes with NEO and 10 with NEO2. The pages do not define a quality gap between them. An account can be paused for up to 2 months for free.

Source
Which plan can export SCORM?

Course and video SCORM export read 0 on Starter, 5/mo on Professional, and unlimited on Enterprise. Professional's card repeats 5 SCORM exports/mo (Streaming). Enterprise adds streaming and self-contained. The generator page says SCORM and LMS tracking start on the Professional plan. A demo line says self-serve SCORM matches the enterprise plan.

Source
Does Colossyan train models on customer videos?

The pricing FAQ says no. Colossyan does not train AI models on customer content. Your scripts, recordings, and generated videos stay private to your workspace. Yes. Colossyan is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant, with EU or US data residency on Enterprise plans. The Enterprise card also lists custom SSO/SAML. Earlier comparison columns still show dashes for that row.

Source
How many languages can one video use?

The homepage says the right voice in 100+ languages and 100+ languages from one source. Demo text repeats 100+. The pricing heading is 120+ supported languages. Auto-translation actions are separate: 15/mo, 20/mo, or unlimited.

Source
Can I buy more minutes or a studio avatar later?

Two FAQ add-ons sit beside the annual rate. Studio custom avatars filmed on a green screen are $1000 per year. On a Professional yearly plan, 600 extra NEO2 minutes are $1,500/year. Enterprise already lists unlimited NEO and NEO2 minutes and one included studio avatar. The pages do not say whether unused add-on minutes roll over.
