Melty suits Windows players who want an existing mashup installed in one place. Its SkyCraft example puts a Minecraft player into Skyrim. For a new idea, use the coding-agent workflow. Check the individual project’s requirements before downloading; the launcher does not promise that every pair of games will work.
Choose a published mashup and press Play. Melty says it downloads the project, installs its dependencies and starts the game. If a required game is missing, the launcher points you to its store. Uninstalling is described as restoring the changed files.
Official documentationOn supported multiplayer mashups, Play provides an invite link. Keep the lobby private, share it with friends or make it public. Multiplayer depends on the selected project; installing the launcher alone does not add it to every game.
Official documentationThe Melty AI workflow uses instructions copied from the app into Claude Code or Codex. Describe the mechanic you want; the agent builds and publishes the mashup. The public site explains this handoff but does not expose the full instruction text.

For a first Melty AI project, specify a host game, one mechanic and a test plan. Ask the agent to explain changed files and how to remove the mod before publishing.
