OpenArt is a browser studio for images, video, voice, and audio, with characters and 3D worlds kept in a library. You can start on a free trial with daily credits and no credit card required. Paid cards run from Starter to Wonder. Several labs are named on the pages, and the public text has no per-model credit table.
Choose OpenArt when one account should hold a still, a short clip, a saved character, and a world you can export. Director sits beside the ordinary generator, and paid video estimates leave it out. A single-lab job with no credit menu is a weaker fit. Client delivery on Starter is weaker too: that card skips the commercial use rights line shown on Plus, Pro, and Wonder. The public FAQ never says which price is monthly, or how large the daily trial allowance is.
A good fit for
Making a still and a short clip from named models in one account.
Saving a character or a navigable world and opening it again later.
Comparing Starter through Wonder credit pools before paying.
Know the trade-offs
The trial line does not show the daily credit amount, a watermark rule, or commercial rights.
Paid video estimates exclude Director.
Body copy says 10M+ creators while 8M+.
Generators, edits, characters, worlds, and audio.
Short video, then a chat storyboard
The video section says to type a prompt or drop a reference image to create a video up to 15 seconds long, in up to 4K resolution. It names Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 Omni, and Sora 2, with styles such as photorealism, anime, and vintage. Each generation can be further refined or edited. The menu also lists Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, SwitchX, WAN 2.7, LTX-2.3, HappyHorse, Pixverse, and Gemini Omni Flash. Director is the chat path. You layout the storyboard, shape each shot by natural chat, and let the AI help you refine the final sequence. Chat Mode reads as chat to create anything. Director Mode reads as full film / long video. Quick starts include Product Ads, Music Video, UGC Ads, Explainer, and Film Trailer. Headings name Smart Shot, Relight Video, and Video Inpaint without explaining the controls.
Stills start from GPT Image 2, Nano Banana Pro, or Seedream 5.0. You then edit the same image in the same canvas - erase, expand, swap backgrounds, restyle, or upscale to 4K. A reference image is supposed to hold likeness across those edits. The menu includes different labels: GPT Image 2.5, Grok Imagine, Qwen Image 3, Nano Banana 2, and Seedream 5.0 Pro. Camera Angle Control changes perspective. Image Upscale raises resolution. A character is stored. Build one from reference images or a text brief, save it to your OpenArt library, and then simply tag and reuse them in future generations. Cards cap consistent characters at about 13, 40, 80, and 353 from Starter through Wonder, with personalized-model counts beside them. One-Click Story counts on those cards are about 5, 17, 34, and 150. The clicks are not described.
The worlds page turns one image into a fully navigable 3D environment, powered by World Labs spatial AI, exclusively on OpenArt. Uploads are optional and capped at four. Presets are Mountain Stream Cabin, Tropical Beach Bungalow, Futuristic Coastal Retreat, and Overgrown Ruin. The homepage also allows a prompt or reference images, then characters, props, stills, or an export to specialized 3D tools. You move through the space, place lights, and set the camera, with changes shown in real time. The world stays in the library. Export is 3D Gaussian Splat format for Blender or Unreal Engine. Steps on the page are upload or prompt, generate and navigate, then add characters or objects by prompt. Audiences named there are filmmakers who want a stable set, social and virtual-IP creators, game designers blocking a level, and architects walking a space before it is built, while maintaining real-world proportions, which is the page's wording rather than a checked scale.
Audio stays in the same studio. The homepage says to generate AI voiceovers in 30+ languages with lip-sync, score scenes with original music in any genre, or layer sounds like footsteps and rain. Clone a voice from a reference sample or pick a preset. Every audio track exports as WAV or MP3, timed to your video. Paid cards include 100+ premium image, video, and audio models. Music Video and Podcast are format labels on the homepage. The menu says a music video can sync pictures to an audio track, and Director offers Music Video as a quick start. Neither label describes a multitrack editor, a duration cap, or a podcast script.
A suggested Director path, is the Product Ads quick start. Describe the ad in chat and attach a product still. Treat it as a storyboard, because paid video estimates leave Director out. For a client publish, check the card for commercial use rights first. Watermark-free is on the paid cards, not in the trial sentence.
The same face in later stills
Suggested when a face must return: build the character, save it, and tag the next still or clip. Stay inside the count on your card. No training steps are described, so this suggested workflow ends at save and tag. A repeating room can be a library world with the character placed in it.
A set you walk before filming
A suggested worlds pass, for the filmmakers and architects named on that page, starts with one image or a preset, then a walk, a camera, and objects added by prompt. Export only for Blender or Unreal Engine. The short-video cap is not stated for a splat, and the free-start line does not say the export is included.
How to get started with OpenArt
1
Start on the trial
Use the free trial with daily credits and no credit card. The daily amount is not shown.
2
Make a still or a clip
Use a prompt or a reference image for video, or edit a still on the same canvas with the named image models.
3
Keep what you will reopen
Save a character for later tags, or keep a world and export a Gaussian splat if another 3D tool is next.
4
Check the card
Match credits and the commercial-use line to the job. Video estimates exclude Director.
On 6 October 2026 each card shown two per-seat amounts next to Monthly and Annually. The public FAQ does not say which amount is the monthly charge. No tax is stated. Every video estimate excludes Director.

The trial sits outside the cards: daily credits, no credit card, and no published daily amount. Extra Credit is 5,000 credits / month and says Subscribe to Plus to Unlock. Dated lines that day include up to 50% off Seedance models, Unlimited Flux 3 Image until Oct 7 on Pro and Oct 14 on Wonder, and unlimited Flux 3 720p video until October 31 on Wonder. Rollover, cancellation, upgrades, and unlimited generation are unanswered headings.
You want a separate image product, not this multi-asset studio.
Choose Midjourney when the work stays in that image product. OpenArt documents short video, a character library, worlds, and audio on shared credit cards. No Midjourney price is compared here.
You want Kling's own video product, not Kling inside this studio.
OpenArt names Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni in its generator. KLING AI is the separate product for that lab.
OpenArt: common questions
Can you start OpenArt without paying?
The homepage offers a trial plan with daily credits and no credit card. It does not give the daily number, or call trial output watermark-free or commercial. Paid cards still exist, so this is not free-only.
Starter shows $14 and $13 per seat per month with 10% off, Plus $34 and $27 with 20% off, Pro $56 and $44 with 22% off, and Wonder $240 and $175 with 27% off. Monthly and Annually appear, but the public answer never says which figure is which.
Video starts from a prompt or a reference image. Same-canvas edits are erase, expand, swap backgrounds, restyle, and upscale to 4K. Director Mode is labeled full film / long video, with no duration. Audio exports as WAV or MP3 from a preset or a reference sample.
Save a character from references or a text brief and tag it later. A world stays in the library and exports as 3D Gaussian Splat for Blender or Unreal Engine. A heading asks about multi-project reuse, but that answer was not public.
The homepage says OpenArt MCP generates images and video inside your agent. Starter lists access. Plus, Pro, and Wonder add 10% off beside it. The discount is not explained, and no separate developer programming interface or voice-clone consent rule is described.
NavHunt did not run OpenArt, did not create an account, and did not generate an image, video, character, world, or audio file. Quotes come from the homepage, pricing page, director quick-start page, and worlds page reviewed on 6 October 2026. Trustpilot lines on the worlds page are testimonials, not NavHunt results.
