Akool is a credit studio for face, character, motion, head, hair, and clothing swaps, plus talking photos, avatar video, image prompts, and video translation. A Free $0 column sits beside paid seats. Starter is billed yearly as $144. Pro, Pro Max, and Business includes two monthly figures and a yearly total. The comparison asks how products consume credits and does not answer with a per-swap or per-minute rate.
Akool fits a clip that needs a new face or outfit, a still that should speak, or a talking video in another language, if you can work inside a credit seat. Read the comparison before the homepage slogans. Avatar video length runs 10 mins then 15, 30, 45, and 60 mins, while the Avatar Video resolution row stays at 4K even where the VIDEO cards say up to 8K or up to 16K. It is a weak fit when you need a written credit price for one face swap. Enterprise is the card that says credits do not expire. Other cards do not say whether unused credits carry over. An added admin or editor is another seat at the owner's rate.

Six swap tools and their upload caps
Character Swap will swap a person in your video with any character, real or generated, at a floor of 4+ credits. Motion Swap will map motion from any reference video onto your own character, at 2+ credits. Head Swap will replace the entire head while keeping pose and lighting intact, at 5+ credits. Hair Swap says try on any hairstyle and color instantly - no salon required, at 6+ credits. Clothing Swap will replace outfits while keeping the person, pose, and background intact, at 4+ credits. A separate Face Swap line calls the photo and video tool studio-quality and says Try for free. Those plus figures are floors, not a finished credit quote. Read in the same six-column order as the speed row, face-swap upload quality is 720P, up to 1080P, then 16K three times, then Customized. Size is 150MB and 30s, then 300MB and 5mins twice, 500MB and 10mins, 1GB and 15mins, then Customized. Live Face Swap is 5 mins free time, up to 5mins, up to 60 mins, up to 90 mins, up to 120 mins, then Customized. Multi-Face Detection and Re-age are row names without per-column marks. Face Enhance is a dash. The pricing page asks how products consume credits and does not show a count for one swap.
Talking Photo will turn any image into an animated video instantly. Character Studio will create videos without a camera, just your avatar and script. The avatar block describes an interactive avatar that sees you, understands your world, and responds in real time, with named presets such as Ella in casual and Mike in office. Those labels are not a control list. Public Streaming Avatar, Public Avatar, Public AI Voice, Public Video Template, and Knowledge Base each read All. Streaming Session time is 5 mins free time, up to 15 mins, up to 15 mins, up to 30 mins, up to 60 mins, then Customized. The third cell stays at 15 minutes, so it does not copy the Pro card's 30-minute video length. Custom Instant Avatar is 1, 1, 3, 5, 10, Customized. Custom Studio Avatar is 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, Customized, matching the Business line 1 Fine-tuned Studio Avatar in fifth place. A separate Instant Avatar row is 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, Customized. Studio Avatar is dashes until a 1. Ultra Avatar is dashes until Customized, and Enterprise says Ultra Avatar supported. Avatar video resolution is up to 720P, up to 1080P, up to 4K three times, then 4K. Max video length is 10 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins, then Customized. The PPT/PDF Upload row has no yes or no marks.
The translation block repeats one language count: Languages supported 155+ 155+ 155+ 155+ 155+ 155+. Upload quality is 4K four times, then 8K, then Customized, so that 8K cell is not the Business card's separate up to 16K video line. Upload length is 5mins, 5mins, 30mins, 60mins, 120mins, Customized. Lip-Sync, Remove BGM, AI Voice Selection, and Upload Local Voice File are row names without a check on each plan. Proofread Editor shows one dash, while the Pro card says video translation proofread access. Upload SRT/ASS and Download SRT/ASS show three dashes. Keep Video Specs Unchanged and Voice Dictionary show one dash each. Voice Clone is a dash, then 5 voices, 30 voices, 180 voices, 500 voices, and Customized. Text to speech starts at 5 uses total, up to 1000 chars each time, then 2000, 5000, 10000, and 50000 characters, then Customized. From the 5000-character cell on, Doubao: 3,000 chars/use. Voice Changer is a dash, then Unlimited five times. Pro Max adds Studio Voice for brand terminology. None of these rows states a commercial-use clearance for the voice.
Image prompts, Seedance, the API, and a support agent
The image block says create professional AI-generated images, social posts, and marketing visuals in seconds, and a shorter line says generate stunning images with simple prompts. The heading calls it a free AI image generator that turns text into 4K HD visuals. That heading is not the plan table, so it does not put those images on the Free $0 column without a watermark. One model line says create cinematic 4K videos in seconds using Seedance 2.5 with region editing and native audio. Wan 3.0 is labeled already available, with a promo line for 30-second clips and multimodal references. The model list also names Kling, MiniMax, PixVerse, Veo, and Sora. Card equations are the only credit illustrations: 200 credits as 100 Nano Pro images or 20 Kling 3.0 videos, and 600 credits as up to 600 images or 60 Kling 3.0 videos, with larger first-rung equations on Pro Max and Business. The Open API page lists face swap, live faceswap, voice generation, video translation, talking photo, talking avatar, background change, lipsync, streaming avatar, image generation, and Jarvis Moderator. Live faceswap text cites multi-face detection and natural blending. The face-swap line says perform face swaps at scale with high latency, which is the public wording. Lipsync says synchronize lip movements with any audio track. Call prices are not per endpoint. You either contact them for a tiered quantity or use the subscription path: purchasing credits on the pricing interface. Pro Max is the card that says Access to API. The support-agent page describes conversational voice for inquiries, retention notes at cancellation, and a QR code. Its case-study headlines are vendor stories.
Starts from the upload row. Every column lists 155+ languages. Length cells are 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, then Customized. If the speed-row order holds, a file past 5 minutes is outside the first two cells, and a file past 30 minutes is outside the Pro cell. Proofread is written on the Pro card, not as six checks. Lip-Sync is only a row name. The public cells do not say mouth movement is included or billed separately. Keep Video Specs Unchanged shows a dash.
Change an outfit or a face in a catalog clip
Use the sentence that matches the shot. Clothing Swap will replace outfits while keeping the person, pose, and background intact. Character Swap will swap a person in your video with any character, real or generated. Motion Swap will map motion from any reference video onto your own character. Hair and head swaps state their own keep-or-replace rules at 6+ and 5+ credits. A 30-second file under 150MB matches the first face-swap size cell. A 5-minute file falls in the cells that say 300MB and 5mins. Treat 4+ and 2+ as minimums until a credit total appears for that file. That limit is part of this suggested check.
A still that speaks, or a booth agent
Character Studio is the suggested route with a script and no camera: create videos without a camera, just your avatar and script. Talking Photo is the shorter route: turn any image into an animated video instantly. The first avatar-video column is 10 minutes and up to 720P. Later columns follow 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes, while avatar resolution stays at 4K. A live booth uses another meter. Streaming time begins at 5 mins free time. Custom studio avatars stay at 0 until the Business place, the 1 Fine-tuned Studio Avatar. The support-agent page is a separate surface for voice inquiries and a QR code. Treat its partner headlines as vendor stories.
How to get started with Akool
1
Open an account
The pricing page shows Log in and Sign up. The homepage shows Sign Up beside Contact Sales.
2
Choose the named tool
Start from Face Swap, Talking Photo, Character Studio, the image prompt, or Video Translator. The footer lists the names and does not document the buttons inside the editor.
3
Read length, watermark, and credits
Compare the file with that column's resolution, minutes, and upload size. Use card equations as the page's illustrations, not as a rate for every tool.
4
Count seats before you invite
Invites go out by email. Admins and editors cost the owner's rate. Removing someone returns the remaining balance as an invoice credit.
Free column, yearly seat totals, and extra editors.
Amounts use the dollar sign shown on the pricing page. Starter shows $12 per seat per month, billed yearly as $144 at $0.060 per credit for 200 credits. Pro is $21 and $30 per seat per month, billed yearly as $252 at $0.035 per credit, beside 30% OFF. Pro Max is $41.30 and $59 per seat per month, billed yearly as $495.60, at $0.034 per credit. Business is $174.30 and $249 per seat per month, billed yearly as $2091.60, at $0.029 per credit. Those yearly totals equal twelve times the lower monthly figure. The page does not label the higher figure as the month-to-month checkout. A Yearly Monthly control is visible. Starter does not show a second monthly price.

Column order follows the speed row: Slow, Medium, Fast, Faster, Fastest, VIP. That matches the card words Medium, Fast, Faster, Fastest, and VIP processing. Storage in that order is 5 GB, 25 GB, 50 GB, 500 GB, 1 T, then Customized, and the cards do not repeat those storage numbers. Seedance 2.5 is labeled 접근 금지 on Starter and on Pro, and 전체 액세스 on Pro Max, Business, and Enterprise. The page does not gloss the Korean. Seedance 2.0 says Limited Access on Starter and 전체 액세스 from Pro upward. License cells are a dash, then Personal three times, then Business and Enterprise. The API row stops after three dashes. If the owner pays $30 a month for a PRO Plan, each added admin or editor is charged $30/month. Only the Enterprise card says credits do not expire.
You want a presenter product and will read that vendor's own limits.
Akool puts clothing, head, hair, and motion swaps on the same seat as avatar video and translation. HeyGen is the neighbor when those swap tools are not why you are buying. HeyGen prices are not copied here.
You are shopping translation tools rather than image credits.
Akool's public pages also sell face swaps, image prompts, and per-seat video credits. VMEG's prices and controls are not described here.
Akool: common questions
Is Akool free?
The comparison includes Free at $0. In the six-column reading that column is a full-screen watermark, slow speed, 5 GB, avatar video up to 720P and 10 minutes, and a face-swap upload of 720P plus 150MB and 30s. The Face Swap blurb also says Try for free. The pages do not say that try removes the watermark or skips a card.
Starter is $12 per seat per month and is billed yearly as $144. Pro is $21 and $30 and is billed yearly as $252. Pro Max is $41.30 and $59 and is billed yearly as $495.60. Business is $174.30 and $249 and is billed yearly as $2091.60. A dollar amount for Enterprise was not verified. The higher monthly figure is not labeled as month-to-month.
Members are invited from Invite Members or Workspace Settings. The invite is an email with a secure link. Added admins and editors pay the owner's rate. If the owner pays $30 a month for a PRO Plan, each added member is charged $30/month. Removing someone adds the remaining balance as an invoice credit.
Languages supported 155+ on every column. Upload length is 5mins, 5mins, 30mins, 60mins, 120mins, then Customized. Upload quality is 4K four times, then 8K, then Customized. Pro is the card with video translation proofread access. Lip-Sync is listed without a per-plan mark in the public row.
Which plan includes the API, and what does a call cost?
The Pro Max card says Access to API. Starter and Pro cards do not. Three dashes and does not cover every column. You can use the API by purchasing credits on the pricing interface, or contact Akool for a tiered quantity. No per-endpoint dollar price is shown.
Enterprise says credits do not expire. The other cards do not say whether credits roll over. Homepage floors are 4+, 2+, 5+, and 6+ credits, and card equations cover only the first credit rung. The footer names Trust and Safety and a content policy. Enterprise does say enterprise-grade security and privacy, plus SSO Log-in.
NavHunt did not run Akool and did not upload a face video, buy a seat, or call the API.
